1. Scope and responsibility
This Privacy Policy applies to MANYROUTE websites, customer accounts, checkout, support, proxy gateways, and related services.
MANYROUTE is responsible for personal information under its control. The person with the highest authority at MANYROUTE acts as the Privacy Officer unless responsibility is formally delegated in writing. Privacy questions and complaints may be sent to business@manyroute.net.
2. Information collected
- Identity and contact information, such as name, email address, organization, and account identifiers.
- Order and billing information, such as selected pool, region, data amount, currency, transaction status, billing address, and tax information.
- Payment information handled by Stripe or another disclosed processor. MANYROUTE does not intentionally receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
- Gateway and connection metadata, such as source IP address, destination host or domain, timestamps, selected pool and region, bytes transferred, response status, and error information.
- Device and security information, such as browser type, operating system, authentication events, cookies, and suspected-abuse signals.
- Communications and support records that you choose to provide.
3. Why information is used
- Create and secure accounts.
- Process orders, payments, taxes, refunds, and credits.
- Route traffic, measure data use, maintain sticky sessions, and deliver the service.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security threats, and Acceptable Use Policy violations.
- Provide support and communicate service or policy changes.
- Maintain business, accounting, audit, and legal records.
- Comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of MANYROUTE, customers, providers, and third parties.
4. Proxy traffic
Operating an HTTP proxy requires technical processing of requests and connection data. Depending on whether the destination uses encryption, proxy infrastructure may be technically capable of processing destination addresses, headers, and unencrypted content.
The gateway records authorization, routing, usage, error, and security metadata needed to provide and protect the service. It is not designed to retain request or response bodies. Customers should use end-to-end encryption for sensitive traffic. MANYROUTE does not use proxy traffic content for advertising or sell it.
5. How information is obtained
Information may be collected directly from you, automatically through the website or gateway, from payment and identity providers, from upstream proxy providers, and from fraud-prevention or security services.
6. Disclosure to service providers
- Payment processors, including Stripe.
- Cloud hosting, database, authentication, monitoring, communications, and security providers.
- Approved upstream proxy providers that require limited information to route traffic or investigate abuse.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and corporate-transaction participants subject to appropriate confidentiality duties.
- Courts, regulators, law enforcement, and other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law.
7. International transfers
Service providers and upstream networks may process information in countries outside the customer’s location or MANYROUTE’s home jurisdiction. MANYROUTE will complete any transfer assessment required by applicable law and use contractual and security safeguards appropriate to the information and destination.
8. Cookies and analytics
MANYROUTE may use essential cookies for authentication, security, checkout continuity, and user preferences. The current storefront does not use advertising cookies. Any future analytics or optional cookies will be disclosed and, where required, presented with a consent choice before use.
9. Retention and deletion
Personal information will be retained only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and security. Information will then be securely destroyed or anonymized as permitted by law.
Account, order, entitlement, and payment records may be retained while an account or purchased data remains active and afterward for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal requirements. Gateway, security, and support records are kept only for the operational, investigative, and legal periods reasonably required for their purpose.
10. Security and incidents
MANYROUTE will use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity, amount, purpose, and location of the information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Suspected confidentiality incidents will be assessed, contained, documented, and reported to affected individuals and authorities when required by law.
11. Your privacy rights
- Request access to personal information held about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request eligible computerized information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, subject to legal or service limitations.
- Ask questions or submit a complaint to the Privacy Officer.
- Submit a complaint to the privacy or data-protection regulator with jurisdiction over the matter.
12. Minors, changes, and contact
MANYROUTE is not intended for minors and does not knowingly offer accounts to persons who lack legal capacity to contract.
Material changes to this Policy will be posted with a revised effective date and additional notice when required.
